About

Improve your skills and boost your confidence with our horse care and riding lessons. Open to all ages and skill levels. Students will learn to halter and lead, control the horse on the ground, groom, saddle up, ride, unsaddle, and cooldown. Other curriculum includes safety around horses and identifying parts of the horse, tack and parts of the saddle.

Cold water will always be available to students. A seating area is available for parents and spectators. 

What To Expect

• Closed toed shoes are REQUIRED. No exceptions.

• Long pants are preferred for riding, but shorts are acceptable in hot weather.

• Most lessons are in the outdoor arena if the weather allows, so bring sunglasses and/or a hat if it’s sunny.

• Please bring payment on the day of lesson. Cash, check or Venmo is accepted.

• If you cannot make it to the lesson or think you wont be able to, please let us know at least 3 days in advance.
